We start with a conversation about your history and concerns. Any physical examination is always explained in advance, fully consent-led, and only done if clinically necessary. You stay in control at every step.

Not always. An internal assessment gives the most accurate information, but it’s optional. Many people benefit from external and functional assessment alone, especially on a first visit.

Gentle work can start almost immediately. More structured rehab typically begins from around 6 weeks post-birth once your GP has done the standard check. We take C-section recoveries into account.

No. Men experience pelvic floor issues too , chronic pelvic pain, post-prostatectomy leaking, and sexual dysfunction are all treatable with pelvic physiotherapy.
