Lifting tension out of the body.
Dry cupping uses suction to gently lift the skin and surrounding tissues. It increases blood flow, eases muscle stiffness, and promotes recovery. The cups may be left in place or moved along areas of tension.
Why it
works
The negative pressure draws blood toward the surface, encouraging tissue repair and reducing inflammation. It also supports the lymphatic system, helping to clear waste and reduce swelling.
What to
expect
Your physiotherapist will place silicone or plastic cups on the skin over tight or sore areas. You may feel a pulling sensation, but it should not be painful. Circular marks may appear where the cups were placed. These are signs of increased circulation and typically fade within a few days.
Why clients
value it
Cupping offers deep relief with minimal discomfort. Many clients feel instantly looser, lighter, and more relaxed after a session. It is especially popular after intense activity or when the body feels fatigued. It also provides many of the same benefits as Hijama (wet cupping), but in a non-invasive, medical-grade approach that is completely needle-free.
